4200 miles: a pilgrimage

On January 16th, 2016, I began a 4,200 mile journey from the Southernmost Point of the United States in Key West, Florida with the goal of reaching the Canadian Border at Fort Fairfield, Maine by October of this year. Sounds a bit unbelievable, I know.

My trail name is Trek and I’m embarking on a pilgrimage of self-discovery along the Eastern Continental Trail in the US. My hope for this adventure is to become a better human being and cosmic citizen; by connecting more deeply with our awe-inspiring natural world and by joining my fellow humans in fellowship along the way. And I hope to write a book about it.

Please join me on my sojourn; either on the trail, via my online journal, or on social media! You’ll find lots of ways to connect here on my website. And, if you’re so inclined, I could use your help in funding this trek by giving on my GoFundMe page. Until we meet, I’m looking forward to sharing and swapping stories of the trail with you.

Many Blessings,
Trek Reef
